Neighbor

Neighbor

In the field of world policy I would dedicate this nation to the policy of the good neighbor. -Franklin Delano Roosevelt

There are some things that we intuitively know to be right . . . good . . . spiritual. Probably the most famous story that Jesus told was the parable of the Good Samaritan. That story resonates with how people should really live, how people should treat the afflicted. God asks us to demonstrate the love that keeps the world at peace. Who is my neighbor? Some people think it is only the person next door or our fellow citizens. But when we embrace the concept of Say Yes to Your Spirit we realize that our neighbor is our fellow human being, regardless of race, culture, or creed. Only then will the world be at peace. - Leo Booth

Today I am a citizen of the world.
