  • Most people are so busy knocking themselves out trying to do everything they think they should, they never get around to do what they want to do.

  • Love is the Will to extend oneself for the purpose of nurturing one's own or another's Spiritual Growth!

What you have called heaven, too, is a state of being. It is the experience of Oneness, the ecstasy of reunification with All That Is. It is the knowing of the true self.
       

    • A mind preoccupied with planning pays homage to the idol of control. For one day, try living in connection without your day planner. See how it feels and if it works for you.

    • All are sons and daughters of God, good people all, Brothers and Sisters, since created by One Father. No rooted difference is there between them.

    • To help yourself, help others. Whatever good you do travels a circle and returns to you many times over- but remember, life isn't about what you get, it's about what you become.

    • When you forgive, you in no way change the past - but you sure do change the future.

    • Iron rusts from disuse, stagnant water loses its purity, and in cold weather becomes frozen; even so does inaction sap the vigors of the mind.

    • What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

    • A man should never be ashamed to admit he has been in the wrong, which is but saying, in other words, that he is wiser today than he was yesterday.

    • A constructive, useful life, good works, and good relationships are as valid as writing poetry or inventing a machine. Anything that one does well and obtains satisfaction from is a good enough reason for living. To be a decent human being that people like and feel better for knowing is enough.
    • Do something today that your future self will thank you for.

    • Do just once what others say you can't do, and you will never pay attention to their limitations again.

    • I don't have to chase extraordinary moments to find happiness - it's right in front of me if I'm paying attention and practicing gratitude.

    • The greatest good you can do for another is not just to share your riches, but to reveal to him his own.

    • If a man wants his dreams to come true, he must wake them up.

    • Realize that true happiness lies within you. Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the world outside. Remember that there is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving. Reach out. Share. Smile. Hug. Happiness is perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.

    • The bird, a nest; the spider, a web; man, friendship.

    • God isn’t “up there”. He exists in, around, above and through each one of us, and it’s up to us to seek the divine within. 

    • It's not so much how busy you are, but why you are busy. The bee is praised. The mosquito is swatted.

    • If you're going to be able to look back on something and laugh about it, you might as well laugh about it now.

    • Real education should educate us out of self into something far finer; into a selflessness which links us with all humanity.

    • Optimism is a happiness magnet. If you stay positive, good things and good people will be drawn to you.

    • It is tempting, during difficult times, to feel very much alone, as if you are taking this journey in solo form, with no one at your side, and no one on your side. Nothing could be further from the truth. You are an aspect of The Divine. God lives in you, through you. "I am with you always, even unto the end of time" are not just pretty words. They are truth.
       

    • The spirit which my Father and I shall send into the world is not only the Spirit of Truth but also the spirit of idealistic beauty.

    • You are the master of your life - you are the master of your mind - you have the power to change the way you think and feel. You have the power in you to achieve your goals, to become the person you want to be, and to live the life of your dreams.

    • In those moments when you feel shaky or uncertain, remember that you are building a brand-new foundation for your life and contributing to the revolutionary new template for a more loving humanity. Acknowledge yourself for this, stay present and in your heart, and BREATHE!

    • Use what talents you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best.

    • If you are willing to become fellow servants with me in doing the Father's will, in the kingdom to come you shall sit with me in power, still doing the Father's will in future glory.

    • Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.

    • All things are sacred in the lives of those who are spirit led; that is, subordinated to truth, ennobled by love, dominated by mercy, and restrained by fairness - justice.
       

    • God said: Here is your home, everyone’s home, in My heart. Behold, what you discover quite naturally is that everyone is you! You have invited yourself here! You are embodied here in My heart with everyone, and you see that everyone is One. There is no other. There is not even you and I. There is I. The time will come when all you can see, near or far, is I, God. I am what is named the Universe and you and All That Is. There can be no differentiation. Oneness is undifferentiated. This is an Ode to Oneness.
       

    • Service-more service, increased service, difficult service, adventurous service, and at last divine and perfect service-is the goal of time and the destination of space.

    • Peace comes within the souls of men when they realize their Oneness with the universe.
       

    • It requires courage to invade new levels of experience and to attempt the exploration of unknown realms of intellectual living.

    • He who allows his day to pass by without practicing generosity and enjoying life's pleasures is like a blacksmith's bellows- he breathes but does not live.

    • Gratitude is the sweetest thing in a seeker's life - in all human life. If there is gratitude in your heart, then there will be tremendous sweetness in your eyes.

    • Tell your truth as soon as you know it. Yet tell it gently, kindly, and with compassion for the hearer. Someone needs to hear the truth from you today... but that person also needs your deep compassion as you speak it. Seek to say what needs to be said with softness, and with a wide open heart. Remember, the truth can hurt...but it hurts a lot less if you care how it feels while saying it.
       

    • You should rejoice in the recognition of the ever-present possibility of immediate communion with the bestowal spirit of the Father so intimately associated with your inner soul and your spiritualizing self.


    • Before you speak, ask yourself, is it kind, is it necessary, is it true, does it improve on silence?

      • Always be a first-rate version of yourself and not a second-rate version of someone else.

      • When you start each new day from this point forward, decide that you will apply the fresh eyes and new perspectives you have developed. The pace of your awakening has quickened - you are not the same from year to year or even day to day. Even in your dream time you are integrating new truths and enlarging your view of who you truly are.

      • You should rejoice in the recognition of the ever-present possibility of immediate communion with the bestowal spirit of the Father so intimately associated with your inner soul and your spiritualizing self.

      • There is a direct attractiveness of a spirit nature between spiritually minded persons of like tastes and longings. The term kindred spirits is not wholly a figure of speech."
      • Kites rise highest against the wind, not with it.

      • Gratitude helps you to grow and expand; gratitude brings joy and laughter into your life and into the lives of all those around you.
      • The God-knowing soul rises in the universe like the cream appears on top of the milk.
      • Prayer is a part of the divine plan for making over that which is into that which ought to be.
      • The greatest power we have is the power of choice. It's an actual fact that if you've been moping in unhappiness, you can choose to be joyous instead and, by effort, lift yourself into joy. If you tend to be fearful, you can overcome that misery by choosing to have courage. Even in darkest grief you have a choice - The whole trend and quality of anyone's life is determined in the long run by the choices that are made.
      • Fires can't be made with dead embers, nor can enthusiasm be stirred by spiritless men. Enthusiasm in our daily work lightens effort and turns even labor into pleasant tasks.
      • Love is born in the pleasure of looking at each other…it is concluded with the impossibility of separation.
      • The secret lies in how we handle today, not yesterday or tomorrow. Today… that special block of time holding the key that locks out yesterday's nightmares and unlocks tomorrow's dreams.
      • Accept what is, let go of what was, and have faith in what will be.
      • Be a lamp, or a lifeboat, or a ladder. Help someone’s soul heal.
      • As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
      • It would help you much if you would learn that true wisdom embraces discretion as well as courage.
      • In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.
      • Unselfishness is the badge of human greatness.

      • I am - just as you are - a unique, never-to-be-repeated event in this universe. Therefore, I have - just as you have - a unique, never-to-be-repeated role in this world.
      • Learn to get in touch with the silence within yourself and know that everything in life has purpose.  There are no mistakes, no coincidences, all events are blessings given to us to learn from.



      ·  To remember is to understand.


      Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.

      Happiness and joy take origin in the inner life.

      When you once start out to find God, that is the conclusive proof that God has already found you.

      A good character is the best tombstone. Those who loved you, and were helped by you, will remember you when forget-me-nots have withered. Carve your name on hearts, not on marble.

      The affectionate dedication of the human will to the doing of the Father's will is man's choicest gift to God; in fact, such a consecration of creature will constitutes man's only possible gift of true value to the Paradise Father.

      We act as though comfort and luxury were the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us really happy is something to be enthusiastic about.

      He is the greatest of warriors who overcomes and subdues himself.

      Remember that the reaping is in accordance with the sowing. Pray for tranquility of spirit and cultivate patience.

      Chop your own wood, and it will warm you twice.

      If you don't know the guy on the other side of the world, love him anyway because he's just like you. He has the same dreams, the same hopes and fears. It's one world, pal. We're all neighbors.

      I am here for a purpose and that purpose is to grow into a mountain, not to shrink to a grain of sand. Henceforth I will apply ALL my efforts to become the highest mountain of all and I will strain my potential until it cries for mercy.

      You mortals are the sons of God, and only one thing is required to make such a truth factual in your personal experience, and that is your spirit-born faith.

      I hope I shall possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of all titles, the character of an honest man.

      In every possible way - in everything short of your spiritual allegiance to the rulers of the universe - seek to live peaceably with all men. Be you always as wise as serpents but as harmless as doves.

      Human salvation is real; it is based on two realities which may be grasped by the creature's faith: the fact of the fatherhood of God and its correlated truth, the brotherhood of man.

      You can only do good if you feel good.

      The true believer does not grow weary in well-doing just because he is thwarted. Difficulty whets the ardor of the truth lover, while obstacles only challenge the exertions of the undaunted kingdom builder.

      A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral.

      Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.

      Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.

      Defeat is the true mirror in which you may honestly view your real self.

      When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love - then make that day count!

      The good nature of a loving Father could not possibly withhold the wise ministry of mercy to each member of every group of his universe children.

      Throw your dreams into space like a kite, and you do not know what it will bring back, a new life, a new friend, a new love, a new country.

      You are the conductor of your own attitude! Nobody else can compose your thoughts for you.

      Always remember that the Father knows what you need even before you ask him.

      Why wait for Heaven? It is here today.

      It is literally true: 'No man lives by himself.' Cosmic socialization constitutes the highest form of personality unification.

      No sincere prayer is denied an answer except when the superior viewpoint of the spiritual world has devised a better answer, an answer which meets the petition of the spirit of man as contrasted with the prayer of the mere mind of man.

      The world is a great mirror. It reflects back to you what you are. If you are loving, if you are friendly, if you are helpful, the world will prove loving and friendly and helpful to you. The world is what you are.

      We are each gifted in a unique and important way. It is our privilege and our adventure to discover our own special light.

      The true God is not afar off; he is a part of us; his spirit speaks from within us.

      Strong characters are not derived from not doing wrong but rather from actually doing right.

      Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for.

      If you don't like how things are, change it! You're not a tree.

      If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

      You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the thing you think you cannot do.

      If you want to find happiness - find gratitude.

      You are what you give; not what you are given.

      Nothing of survival value is ever lost in all the wide universe.

      The truly religious individual seeks to identify the self with the universe and then to dedicate the activities of this unified self to the service of the universe family of fellow beings, human and superhuman.

      Anxiety must be abandoned. The disappointments hardest to bear are those which never come.

      The religious man who finds God in nature has already and first found this same personal God in his own soul.

      When we have peace in our hearts and minds, we draw peace into our lives.

      Worship is intended to anticipate the better life ahead and then to reflect these new spiritual significances back onto the life which now is. Prayer is spiritually sustaining, but worship is divinely creative.

      Contentment, and indeed usefulness, comes as the infallible result of great acceptances, great humilities—of not trying to make ourselves this or that, but of surrendering ourselves to the fullness of life—of letting life flow through us. 

      Begin challenging your own assumptions. Your assumptions are your windows on the world. Scrub them off every once and a while, or the light won't come in.

      Obstacles cannot crush me; every obstacle yields to stern resolve.

      When you awaken love and laughter in your life, your mind lets go of fear and anxiety, and your happy spirit becomes the healing balm that transforms every aspect of your human experience.

      Live loyally today - grow - and tomorrow will attend to itself. The quickest way for a tadpole to become a frog is to live loyally each moment as a tadpole.

      You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the courage—pleasantly, smilingly, nonapologetically, to say “no” to other things. And the way you do that is by having a bigger “yes” burning inside.

      Your actual achievement is not so important as the fact that the direction of your progress is Godward. What you are becoming day by day is of infinitely more importance than what you are today.

      Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words. Keep your words positive because your words become your behavior. Keep your behavior positive because your behavior becomes your habits. Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values. Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny.

      A well developed sense of humour is the pole that adds balance to your steps as you walk the tightrope of life.

      I have no fear; I am free from anxiety. I dwell in security, and my enemies cannot alarm me.

      Sunshine is delicious, rain in refreshing, wind braces us up and snow is exhilarating: there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.

      Trust is the crucial test of will creatures. Trustworthiness is the true measure of self-mastery, character.

      It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings.

      You should manifest the righteous ministry of loving service to believers and unbelievers alike.

      Relate yourself to every man as if you were in his place. Recompense injury with kindness.

      Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

      The believer's chief concern should not be the selfish desire for personal salvation but rather the unselfish urge to love and, therefore, serve one's fellows even as Jesus loved and served mortal men.

      Make sure that the truth abides in your lives, and that you daily grow in grace.

      ..Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the not-quite, the not-yet, and the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you desire can be won. It exists.. it is real.. it is possible.. it's yours.


      Develop a childlike fascination with life and people.

      It is your thoughts, not your feelings, that lead you Godward. The divine nature may be perceived only with the eyes of the mind.     

      We lift ourselves by our thought. We climb upon our vision of ourselves. If you want to enlarge your life, you must first enlarge your thought of it and of yourself. Hold the ideal of yourself as you long to be, always everywhere.

        I haven’t a clue how my story will end, but that’s all right. When you set out on a journey and night covers the road, that’s when you discover the stars.
       

      ·  Look well to this day. Yesterday is but a dream tomorrow is only a vision. But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well therefore to this day.

      · Nothing gives one person so much advantage over another as to remain cool and unruffled under all circumstances.

      · Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important that fear.

      · I am not afraid of tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday and I love today.

      · How does one become a butterfly? You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar.

      ·  It isn’t the mountains ahead to climb that wear you out; it’s the pebble in your shoe.

      · Everything you don’t like in others is your unseen faults being reflected back onto you.

      ·  To be loved, be lovable.

      · If you have at least one person in your life willing to speak the truth to you, then consider yourself blessed.

      ·  Spirit is like the wind, in that we can’t see it but can see its effects, which are profound.

      · Nothing is impossible, the word itself says, "I'm possible"!

      · Service is the rent we pay for being. It is the very purpose of life, and not something you do in your spare time.

      · Life is a compromise of your ego wants to do, what experience tells you to do, and what your nerve let you do.

      · The great pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.

      · BE yourself. No one can ever tell you you’re doing it wrong.

      · The door of opportunity won’t open unless you do some pushing.

      · My advise to you is not to inquire why or whither, but just to enjoy your ice cream while it’s on your plate.

      · Meditate. Live purely. Be quiet. Do your work with mastery. Like the moon, come out from behind the clouds! Shine.

      · Some people, no matter how old they get, never lose their beauty. It merely moves from their faces to their hearts.

      · They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.

      · When eating a fruit, think of the person who planted the tree.

      · Every time I think I’m getting old, something else happens.

      · Learn as if you were going to live forever. Live as if you were going to die tomorrow.

      ·  Love TRUTH, but pardon error.

      · The most difficult thing I have ever had to do is follow the guidance I prayed for.

      · Success is not a native of any nation neither is it related to any family, so you don’t have an excuse not to leave the imprint of impact of the sand of time before your time is over on this planet.

      · A strong positive mental attitude will create more miracles than any wonder drug.

      · You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late.

      · Always remember: Joy is not merely incidental to your spiritual quest. IT IS VITAL.

      ·  It’s important the people should know what you stand for. It’s equally important that they know what you won’t stand for.

      ·  If one is without kindness, how can one be called a human being?

      · Real integrity is doing the right thing, knowing that nobody’s going to know whether you did it or not.

      · Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

      · To be wronged is nothing unless you continue to remember it.

      · Play the “Reverse Gossip” game. See how many nice things you say ‘behind someone’s back’.

      · Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.

      · Can any lock keep love confined within, hen the loving heart’s tiny tears escape and confess it? The unloving belong only to themselves, but the loving belong to others to their very bones.
      · Free from desire, he neither praises the peaceful nor blames the wicked. The same joy and sorrow, he is always happy. He sees there is nothing to do.
      · He is awake, fulfilled, free from desire. He neither is nor is not. He looks busy, but he does nothing. Striving or still, he is never troubled. He does whatever comes his way and he is happy.
      · Consider: Wherever there is desire, there is he world. With resolute dispassion free yourself from desire and find happiness. Desire binds you, nothing else. Destroy it and you are free. Turn from the world. Fulfil yourself and find lasting happiness.
      · You are not your body. Your body is not you. You are not the doer. You are not the enjoyer. You are pure awareness, the witness of all things. You are without exception, FREE. Wherever you go, BE HAPPY!
      · By standing on his own a man finds happiness. By standing on his own a man finds freedom. By standing on his own he goes beyond the world. By standing on his own a man finds he finds the end of the way.
      · OM is the supreme symbol of the Lord. OM is the whole, OM affirms; OM signals the chanting of the hymns from the Vedas. The priest begins with OM; spiritual teachers and their students commence with OM. The student who is established in OM becomes united with the LORD OF LOVE.
       


      The difference between try and triumph is a little umph.

      We do not inherit the land from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.

      A smile is the light in your window that tells others that there is a caring, sharing person inside.

      Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.

      PEACE. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

      There is but one form of prayer which is appropriate for all's God's children, and that is" "NEVERTHELESS, YOUR WILL BE DONE." 

      How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours.

      When you refuse your ego at least once a day, you make great things happen.

      Only in LOVE are unity and duality not in conflict.

      You cannot put spiritual joy under a microscope; you cannot weigh love in a balance; you cannot measure moral values; neither can you estimate the quality of spiritual worship.

      When you take logic out of the picture, the answers just come to you.







      Extend to each person, no matter how trivial the contact, all the care and kindness and understanding and love that you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.

      The TRUTH is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers.

      Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.

      And still, after all this time, the Sun has never said to the Earth, "You ower me". Look what happens with love loike that. It lights up the sky.

      There is not enough darkness in all the world to put out the light of even one small candle.



      Some people have a wonderful capacity to appreciate again and again, freshly and naively, the basic goods of life, with awe, pleasure, wonder, and even ecstasy.

      Fools try to prove why they are right. Wise men try to find why they are wrong.

      The future depends on what we do in the present.

      The best thing to give your enemy is forgiveness; to an opponent, tolerance; to a friend, your heart; to your child, a good example; to a father, deference; to your mother, conduct that will make her proud of you; to yourself, respect; to all men, charity.

      Confidence comes not from always being right but from not fearing to be wrong.

      Yesterday is a cancelled cheque: Forget it. Tomorrow is a promissory note: Don't count on it. Today is ready cash: Use it!

      May you always have Love to Share, Health to Spare, and Friends that Care.

      Don't worry if your work is hard and your rewards are few. Remember the might oak was once a nut like you.

      If you really do put a small value upon yourself, rest assured that the world will not raise your price.

      Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

      The young man know the rules, but the old man knows the exceptions. 

      If you have one eye on yesterday, and one eye on tomorrow, you're going to be cockeyed today!

      Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.

      You are unique. Just like everyone else.

      Don't postpone joy.

      Every time we open our mouths, men look into our minds.

      Children are natural mimics - they act like their parents in spite of every effort to teach them good manners.

      The right time to show your good character is when you are pestered by somebody weaker than you. 

      For peace of mind, resign as general manager of the universe.

      Some pursue happiness, others create it.

      The future lies before you, like paths of pure white snow. Be careful how you tread it, for every step will show.

      The more a man know, the more he forgives.

      Yesterday in history, Tomorrow is a mystery, Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

      God...loves every individual; he is no respecter of persons, and the universality of his love brings into being a relationship of the whole, the universal brotherhood.

      Fear knocked at the door. Faith answered. And lo, no one was there!

      Let us not look back in anger, nor forward in fear, but around us in awareness.

      Mile By Mile it's a trial; yard by yard it's hard; but inch by inch it's a cinch.

      I have noticed that folks are generally about as happy as they make up their minds to be.

      Things are time conditioned, but truth is timeless. The more truth you know, the more truth you are, the more of the past you can understand and of the future you can comprehend. 

      It is not so important to love all men today as it is that each day you learn to love one more human being.

      And still, after all this time, the Sun has never said to the Earth,‘You owe me.’ Look what happens with love like that. It lights up the sky.

      Devote your life to proving that love is the greatest thing in the world.

      I began to realize how important it was to be an enthusiast in life. He taught me that if you are interested in something, no matter what it is, go at it at full speed ahead. Embrace it with both arms, hug it, love it and above all become passionate about it. Lukewarm is no good. Hot is no good either. White hot and passionate is the only thing to be.
    • Thought is the blossom; language the bud; action the fruit behind it.
    • You cannot change anything in your life with intention alone, which can become a watered-down, occasional hope that you'll get to tomorrow. Intention without action is useless.

    • You must be respectable, if you will be respected.
    • The Father's love can become real to mortal man only by passing through that man's personality as he in turn bestows this love upon his fellows.
    • True eloquence consists of saying all that is needed and only what is needed.
    • Having started out on the way of life everlasting, having accepted the assignment and received your orders to advance...do not be troubled with doubts of failure or by perplexing confusion, do not falter and question your status and standing, for in every dark hour, at every crossroad in the forward struggle, the Spirit of Truth will always speak, saying, 'This is the way.'
    • Focus more on your desire than on your doubt, and the dream will take care of itself. You may be surprised at how easily this happens. Your doubts are not as powerful as your desires, unless you make them so.
    • Wrinkles should merely indicate where smiles have been.
    • Believe it can be done. When you believe something can be done, really believe, your mind will find the ways to do it. Believing in a solution paves the way to solution.
    • Everything already exists in our infinite Universe. All we need to do is to allow ourselves experience the beauty and riches of life, to let these Divine gifts in your existence, to open ourselves to the unlimited, unconditional love and all the blessings that it brings with it, to open the door and let the triumph and success into our habitat.
    • Peace in this life, survival in death, perfection in the next life, service in eternity--all these are achieved (in spirit) now when the creature personality consents--chooses--to subject the creature will to the Father's will.
    • Dreams come true; without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.
    • Remember, even if prayer does not change God, it very often effects great and lasting changes in the one who prays in faith and confident expectation.
    • Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.
    • True listening is another way of bringing stillness into the relationship. When you truly listen to someone, the dimension of stillness arises and becomes an essential part of the relationship.
    • It is a marvelous and transforming experience to become the living channel of spiritual light to the mortal who sits in spiritual darkness.
    • Generosity lies less in giving much than in giving at the right moment.

    • Don't learn to do, but learn in doing.

    • You can never start the creative power into action, by sending out unformed longings and vague desires.
  • And that is how change happens. One gesture. One person. One moment at a time.
  • Religious faith is available alike to the learned and the unlearned.
  • Start a Gratitude Journal. It trains the brain to begin focusing on things you like about your life. Watch what happens to your life when you do!
  • Maybe who we are isn't so much about what we do, but rather what we're capable of when we least expect it.
  • You know we are so worried about our kids being good, not getting into trouble, not breaking the law, having scrapes with authorities and going against the rules. We are so worried about our kids being good that we often forget to invite them to be great.
  • God is not the mere invention of man's idealism; he is the very source of all such superanimal insights and values.
  • When you’re trying to motivate yourself, appreciate the fact that you’re even thinking about making a change. And as you move forward, allow yourself to be good enough.

  • There lives within every human mind a divine spirit, the gift of the Father in heaven. This good spirit ever strives to lead us to God, to help us to find God and to know God.
  • Never forget that the sincere prayer of faith is a mighty force for the promotion of personal happiness, individual self-control, social harmony, moral progress, and spiritual attainment.
  • We are designed with a dreaming brain and a hopeful spirit; it is our nature to envision the life of our dreams. And while dreaming comes easy to us, we must never forget that it takes strength, dedication, and courageous action to bring that dream to life.
  • If you get the inside right, the outside will fall into place. As soon as you honor the present moment, unhappiness and struggle dissolve, and life begins to flow with joy and ease. When you act out the present-moment awareness, whatever you do becomes imbued with a sense of quality, care, and love - even the most simple action.

  • Listening is such a simple act. It requires us to be present, and that takes practice, but we don't have to do anything else. We don't have to advise, or coach, or sound wise. We just have to be willing to sit there and listen. 


  • I love you when you bow in your mosque, kneel in your temple, pray in your church. For you and I are sons of one religion, and it is the spirit.
  • Any action is often better than no action, especially if you have been stuck in an unhappy situation for a long time. If it is a mistake, at least you learn something, in which case it's no longer a mistake. If you remain stuck, you learn nothing.

Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody's ever made before. Don't freeze, don't stop, don't worry that it isn't good enough, or it isn't perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life. Whatever it is you're scared of doing, do it.
