Happy (S)

It might seem crazy what I’m about to say
Sunshine she’s here, you can take a break
I’m a hot air balloon that could go to space
With the air, like I don’t care baby by the way

[Hook:]
Because I’m happy
Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof
Because I’m happy
Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth
Because I’m happy
Clap along if you know what happiness is to you
Because I’m happy
Clap along if you feel like that’s what you wanna do

[Verse 2:]
Here come bad news talking this and that
Yeah, give me all you got, don’t hold back
Yeah, well I should probably warn you I’ll be just fine
Yeah, no offense to you don’t waste your time
Here’s why

[Hook]

[Bridge:]
Happy, come on, bring me down
Happy, come on, bring me down
Love is too happy to bring me down
Come on, bring me down
I said bring me down
Come on, bring me down
Love is too happy to bring me down
Come on, bring me down
I said

[Hook x2]

[Bridge 2:]
Bring me down… can’t nothing…
Bring me down… your love is too high…
Bring me down… can’t nothing…
Bring me down, I said (let me tell you now)

[Hook x2]

The Joy of Being

The Joy of Being

To alert you that you have allowed yourself to be taken over by psychological time, you can use a simple criterion. Ask yourself: Is there joy, ease, and lightness in what I am doing? If there isn’t, then time is covering up the present moment, and life is perceived as a burden or a struggle.
If there is no joy, ease, or lightness in what you are doing, it does not necessarily mean that you need to change what you are doing. It may be sufficient to change the how. “How” is always more important than “what.” See if you can give much more attention to the doing than to the result that you want to achieve through it. Give your fullest attention to whatever the moment presents. This implies that you also completely accept what is, because you can- not give your full attention to something and at the same time resist it.
As soon as you honor the present moment, all unhappiness and struggle dissolve, and life begins to flow with joy and ease. When you act out of present-moment awareness, whatever you do becomes imbued with a sense of quality, care, and love — even the most simple action.
So do not be concerned with the fruit of your action — just give attention to the action itself. The fruit will come of its own accord. This is a powerful spiritual practice. In the Bhagavad Gita, one of the oldest and most beautiful spiritual teachings in existence, nonattachment to the fruit of your action is called Karma Yoga. It is described as the path of consecrated action.
When the compulsive striving away from the Now ceases, the joy of Being flows into everything you do. The moment your attention turns to the Now, you feel a presence, a stillness, a peace. You no longer depend on the future for fulfillment and satisfaction — you don’t look to it for salvation. Therefore, you are not attached to the results. Neither failure nor success has the power to change your inner state of Being. You have found the life underneath your life situation.
In the absence of psychological time, your sense of self is derived from Being, not from your personal past. Therefore, the psychological need to become anything other than who you are already is no longer there. In the world, on the level of your life situation, you may indeed become wealthy, knowledgeable, successful, free of this or that, but in the deeper dimension of Being you are complete and whole now.

Oneness Will Sing Its Song and Do Its Dance

Heavenletter #4771 Oneness Will Sing Its Song and Do Its Dance

God said:

You are My seed that has sprouted. You are not full-grown yet. Did you really think you were?

Sometimes you have the feeling that you have learned all you can learn. Beloveds, you are a beginner! You may be a champion, yet you are still a beginner.

It is good to be starting out. It means you are on the forefront. It means you are in the midst of life in the world. You haven’t reached the mountain peak yet.

I will tell you something else. Learning is Infinite and Eternal. There is always more to learn and more to grow. The human heart continues to grow and to bear fruit. What is the fruit you bear? To give love, of course, and more love. There is always more love to give. Even though you are Love Entire, and there is no more love you can be, for, in Truth, you are all love, there is, nevertheless, more love that can flow from you, must flow from you, must be heralded from you, poured from you the way rain waters the Earthen soil. So must there be a growing output of love from you. In fact, your love is to shine like the sun.

Beloveds, you are going to swim in love. You will cover the Universe with love. You will never stint on love again. You will never see love again as a commodity that you must use sparingly. No, not at all. From now on, you will flood the Earth with love. Love will break all bounds. Love will leap like fish, like dolphins, like whales. Love will wash the world. The whole world and everyone in it will splash in love. Love will be known. Love will cover the Earth. The whole world will gleam in love.

I, God, will recline. I will be ever-present as always, and yet I will recline. I won’t retire. I will always be God, yet I will be able to observe what I have made and know and know again what I made and know it is good for all time. I won’t take a vacation because what could I desire to take a vacation from  anyway? Certainly not from the love in My heart. Certainly not from My love for you and the Universe and all that I have created. Where would I want to go? As always, I want to be with you. Only now We will dance in love. You will know love as I do love. You will be caught up in love. Trouble will be forgotten. It will no longer be fantasized. You will live out your dreams, and they will be Mine. As always, My Will shall be done. You will wear the stars like buttons. You will sing like the spheres. You will know your address in Heaven. You will no longer imagine that you have ever been anywhere else.

If there are long-kept secrets to Heaven, you will know them. There will be no secrets. You will abide in Heaven and take everyone with you.

The long past will disappear. Infinity and Eternity will be in your pocket, or you in theirs. Time and lapses will be forgotten. Truth alone will be known. Oneness will sings its song and do its dance. What can be unknown during Our opened-up love, Our love poured forth like music? Under such loveliness, what unloveliness can be imagined, let alone seen or even possible?

The whole world will be laughter and smiles. Frowns will not be conceived of.

Love will be a continuous celebration. Life will be celebration. Love will be the Light of the World, and it will be on Earth as it is in Heaven. Good! My Will be done.

Reality

Reality

We don't need more strength or ability or opportunity. What we need is to use what we have. -Basil S. Walsh

A popular song asked, "Is that all there is?" Yes. And it's enough. When we Say Yes to Your Spirit we are accepting that all we need for happiness, joy, and creativity has been given. The real question is, are we using what we have been given? I can only speak for myself-in most cases, no. But it's beginning to change. Why? Because I'm realizing that I am enough. Spiritually I am growing in the awareness that not only did God create me but that God is expressed through me. There is a divine quality to my life. For me, this awareness is relatively new. And it is transformational.

Today I am using what I have been given.

Daily Inspiration

On this day of your life, Neytiri & Jake, I believe God wants you to know...

...that the method of the enterprising is to plan with
audacity and execute with vigor.

Christian Nevell Bovee said that, and it is a valuable
observation. As we experience this holiday season, and
you begin thinking about the New Year ahead, plan
with audacity.

And as you move into the New Year, execute your
plans with vigor. There is excitement in life -- but you
have to put it there.

Incidentally, you may begin executing with vigor right
now. Why wait?

What is the most common factor in success? Is it intelligence, talent, a ready supply of money, charisma, a powerful network, or just plain luck? Although each of these may play a role, perhaps the most pervasive ingredient in the success of those who have created their own fortunes is persistence. A large percentage of self-made millionaires and billionaires have also suffered massive failures. Many have gone bankrupt with ventures. Often they are ridiculed for their ideas and are told by many that making their idea a reality is impossible.
Most people tend to quit when faced with this kind of rational opposition, from family, friends, and experts. However, those who achieve the greatest success are those who persevere in spite of all the challenges, setbacks, and personal hardships. They have something more important than logical analysis. They have faith that nothing is impossible if one’s intention and purpose is strong and clear. This faith enables them to persevere in spite of all challenges. Instead of quitting, usually when getting so close to reaching your goal, why not continue to push forward until the success you desire is fully achieved.

Rango

Movie Of The Week : RANGO

No man can walk out of his own story.

We each see what we need to see!  Beautiful, isn't it?

Dysfunctional family; need intervention!

Spirit of the West: No man can walk out of his own story.

Rango: I couldn't help but notice you noticing me noticing you.

Rango: [from trailer] So you want something to believe in?
[points at the "Sheriff" sign]
Rango: Believe in that there sign. For as long as it hangs there we've got hope.

Rango: Now, remember son: stay in school, eat your veggies, and burn everything but Shakespeare.

Rattlesnake Jake: [after Beans refuses to sign a deed] Sign the damn paper, woman!
Beans: Go to Hell!
Rattlesnake Jake: [wraps Beans in his coils and suspends her upside

Rango: [after some kids throw rocks at him] Hey! What was that for?
Priscilla: You're funny-looking.
Rango: Well? You're funny-looking too.
Priscilla: That's a funny-looking shirt.
Rango: That's a funny-looking dress.
Priscilla: You got funny-looking eyes.
Rango: You got a funny-looking face!
Priscilla: [small pause] You're a stranger. Strangers don't last long here.
[walks away]

Beans: Get your slimy, webbed phalanges off ma boots!

Rango: Us reptiles gotta stick together. Right, my brother?
Buford: I'm an amphibian.
Rango: Ain't no shame in that.

Rango: Is this Heaven?
Spirit of the West: If it were, we'd be eatin' Pop-Tarts with Kim Novak.

Rango: I think the metaphor broke my spleen.

Rango: We can control it! Like a monkey's bladder!

Rango: Now, we ride!

Bad Bill: I'm going to slice your face off and use it to wipe my unmentionables!

Rattlesnake Jake: [sees bullet] One bullet. You were right. I tip my hat to you... One legend to another.

Rango: [Wounded Bird is scratching his down feathers and scattering them into the wind] I see you're communicating with the great spirits.
Wounded Bird: No. I'm molting. It means I'm ready to mate.

Waffles: [Rango and his posse have found new purpose in their search for the outlaws] What do we do now, Sheriff?
Rango: Now... we ride!

Rango: [the band of mariachi owls stands a ways away with their instruments, waiting; Rango shouts to them] That means we're riding now! This moment.
[another whip is heard and the owls start playing the background music; everyone is riding roadrunners in the next cut]

Rock-Eye: [the hawk drops a bottle with Rango inside it directly on top of Rock-Eye the Toad, who is hiding from the hawk as a rock, from a great height] Ai! ¡Madre de Dios!
[sees Rango]
Rock-Eye: You! I'll kill you! You stupid lizard! Get out of there! I'm gonna strangle your huevos!
Rango: [points frantically from inside his bottle] The bird! The bird!
[starts running away in his bottle by rolling it]
Rock-Eye: [Rock-Eye looks behind him] No wait, come back!
[starts chasing Rango]
Rock-Eye: Hey, I was just kidding! C'mon, we're friends, right?
Rango: Aaah, I don't know you!
Rock-Eye: Lizards, frogs... we're practically related, right?
Rango: [overlapping] Find your own hiding place! No room at the inn!
Rock-Eye: Come on! Move over! I'll let you kiss my sister!
Rango: [Rango runs the bottle over a small sharp rock and the bottle breaks in half] No no no nonono...!
[slides to a stop]
Rock-Eye: [stops with him; pointing in triumph] HA! Ha ha ha!
[the hawk snatches him up]
Rock-Eye: [shouts out] You son of a!
[hawk screech]

Rango: [addressing the townspeople after the bank robbery] We all know exactly what we need to do now!
[aside]
Rango: And that would be?
Mayor: [whispers] Form a posse.
Rango: Form a possum!
[short pause]
Mayor: [still quiet] A *posse*.

Spoons: [after Rango forms a small posse to find the band of robbers] What do we do now?
Rango: Now, we ride!
[cut to them all riding across the desert on roadrunners, excited and energized]
Spoons: [to Rango] Where are we going?
[they have no leads on where the robbers might be]
Rango: What?
Spoons: I said, "Where are we going?"!
[cut to them all walking back into town, embarrassed]

Rango: [an arrow is sticking through Turley's head, entering in his right eye and coming out the left-rear side of his head; Rango looks disgusted] Whoa! Ehh... are you sure you're fit for duty there, soldier?
Sergeant Turley: [oblivious] What?
Rango: Uh, well, you've got a little somethin' in your... eye, there.
Sergeant Turley: [indicates his left eye, seemingly oblivious] Oh, that! That there's conjunctivitis, sir. It's hereditary.
Rango: [going along as not to hurt Turley's feelings] Oh! Well... um... glad to hear it's not contagious.

Elgin: That ain't nothin'. I coughed up an entire tribe of pygmies. They started lookin' at me weird.
Furgus: I remember them! They was quite friendly!
Spoons: I found a human spinal column in my fecal matter once...
[Awkward silence]
Sergeant Turley: You might wanna get that looked at.

Beans: [unimpressed] You ain't from around here, are you?
Rango: [she walks away] I- I'm still working on it. Uh, so, what's your name?
Beans: [rummaging through glass bottles in her cart] Beans.
Rango: That's a funny kind of name.
Beans: What can I say? My daddy plum loved baked beans.
Rango: Well you're lucky he didn't plum love asparagus.
Beans: [quickly stands up] What... what're ya saying?
Rango: I mean, I uh... I enjoy a hearty puttanesca myself, but I'm not sure that a child would uh, appreciate the moniker.
[picks up a jar with a sort of powder in it and puts some in his mouth]
Beans: [walking around the cart to Rango] My daddy was a great man, even if he did exhibit a proclivity for legumes, and... you...
[sees what Rango is eating]
Rango: Mmm, spicy!
Beans: You are eating his ashes!
Rango: [spits, disgusted] Eh! You carry his remains?
Beans: [takes the jar and reseals it] No! His ashes; he loved to smoke. They never found the body.
Rango: Oh. Um, I'm sure he had his reasons.

Wounded Bird: You kill bird?
Rango: Why, yes, I did.
Wounded Bird: Bird gone, snake come.
Rango: What do you mean?
Priscilla: Oh he's talking about Rattlesnake Jake, Mr. Rango. He usually doesn't come to town because of that hawk, but he might come now. Can I have your boots when you're dead?
Rango: I'm not scared. Heck, I think I'd like to meet this Rattlesnake Jake.
Priscilla: That's just what Amos said.
Rango: Who's Amos?
[Priscilla looks at something offscreen, Rango looks and sees a small graveyard with a headstone reading 'Amos, Sheriff Thur-Sat.']
Priscilla: Do you have any gold fillings?

Rango: I will blow that ugly right off your face!

Balthazar: Thespians? That's illegal in seven states!

Rattlesnake Jake: [realizing it's a swarm of bats in the form of a hawk] Ain't no hawk, ain't nothin' but bats!
[starts shooting at them]
Maybelle: Stick to the plan boys, bleed the devil dry!
[swarm spreads out, Jake laughs excitedly while trying to shoot every bat down, realizes he used up all his bullets, turns to see Rango pointing a gun at him]
Rango: It only takes one bullet.
Rattlesnake Jake: You ain't got the nerve.
Rango: Try me.

Rattlesnake Jake: [to the Mayor] What was that thing you said, "Pretty soon, no one will believe you even existed."

Rango: [Rango marches into the bank after it's been robbed] All right, folks; stand back, clear the area, this is a crime scene, now. Secure the parameter, dust for prints, check for fibers, scan for DNA, I want a urine sample from everyone and get me a latte. Don't mix up the two.

Priscilla: What's he doing now?
Waffles: I think it's a number two.

Rango: That's for my gun. That's gun lotion.

Mayor: Control the water... and you control everything.

[the Mayor is intending to shoot Jake while Rango and Beans are in the bank vault that's filling up with water]
Mayor: You and the sheriff are more alike than you think. You're nothing but legends. Pretty soon, no one will believe you even existed.

Rango: Who am I? I'm nobody.

Detach From You

December 29: Detach From You

I’m making myself nuts today, I said to a friend. I' m going to stop what I’m doing and go to bed.”

Sometimes the crazy person I need to detach from is me.

Action: You may find great relief by practicing Step One of Al Anon. You admit that you are powerless over alcohol (or people, places, and things) and that your life has become unmanageable. You focus on this Step, instead of on your obsession. It is also helpful to talk to someone else who understands and practices detachment. You may have to repeatedly focus on this value, some times many times a day, when someone else c insanity is spilling into your life.

December 28: Who is Your Teacher

“When my son was using drugs and I finally had to let go, it was one of the hardest experiences in my life,” a woman said. Now, years later, looking back at the experience, I see that he was my teacher for detaching in love.”

Gratitude Focus: We can be grateful for all the people, places, and things that teach us the hard way—about the value of detaching in love. We can also be grateful for all the people who give us positive support for doing that.

Conscious Decisions

Going against What Is Popular

by Madisyn Taylor

Because an idea or way of doing things is popular doesn’t mean it’s right for everyone.

Just because an idea or way of doing things is popular doesn’t mean it’s right for everyone. However, part of the way that something becomes popular is that many of us don’t take the time to determine what’s right for us; we simply do what most of the people we know are doing. In this way, our decisions about life are made by default, which means they aren’t what we call conscious decisions. There may be many other options available, but we don’t always take the time to explore them. This may be the result of feeling overwhelmed or pressured by family, peers, and humanity at large, to do things their way, the way things have always been done. Regardless of the cause, it is important that, as often as we can, we decide for ourselves what to do with our lives rather than just drift along on the current of popular opinion.

It is not always easy to make decisions that go against the grain. Many people feel threatened when those close to them make choices divergent from the ones they are making. Parents and grandparents may be confused and defensive when we choose to raise our children differently from the way they raised us. Friends may feel abandoned if we decide to change our habits or behavior. Meanwhile, on our side of the fence, it’s easy to feel frustrated and defensive when we feel unsupported and misunderstood simply because we are thinking for ourselves. It can be exhausting to have to explain and re-explain our points of view and our reasons.

This is where gentleness, openness, and tolerance come into play. It helps if we are calmly persistent, consistent, and clear as we communicate to those around us why we are making the choices we are making. At the same time, we have the right to say that we are tired of talking about it and simply need our choices to be respected. Our lives belong to us and so do our decisions. Those who truly love us will stand by us and support our choices, never mind what’s popular.

Even a Crust of Bread Can Be Delicious

Heavenletter #4770 Even a Crust of Bread Can Be Delicious

God said:

So long as you see life as a struggle, it will surely be a struggle. Life can be what it is and not have to be a struggle. You are the one who struggles. It is you who swims upstream. You can make a truce with life, beloveds. You have been looking at life as if it is monumental. Life is a great offering at the same time as the details are incidental. Life does not have to be what you think it has to be. It’s like this:

You may crave a whole loaf of bread, yet, even a crust can be delicious. If you have your mind made up that you must have more than a crust, you may throw a crust away and so deny yourself. If everything in life has to be “good enough” for you, you fight life and you may throw away what could be delicious. You can desire more and still accept what comes. You can accept graciously.

There is a lot to be said for being grateful for what you do have. Being grateful can make all the difference in the world.

I am not saying you have to be satisfied with everything. I am saying you can be satisfied with something.

What is it? Is it pride that would make you dissatisfied with any prize?

It is a beautiful thing not to pout. It is a beautiful thing to be satisfied with half a loaf or, My dears, even with a crust or even okay with none?

Of course, you would like life to suit you. It is good to consider being suited to life. I do not mean for you to have a brave front. I mean it is a good idea to appreciate life even when it isn’t perfect. You can lean toward appreciation rather than protest. Incidents are called incidental, and incidental means less than all-important.

Nor am I saying that you submit to life as a penitent might. I am saying not to be so hard on life. You don’t have to stand out front and be wowed by it. You don’t have to be resistant to it. You don’t have to be affronted by life. Give life a break, and, therefore, you give yourself a break. Don’t stand on ceremony. Don’t be crushed because all that you desire has not reached you. Don’t be a dissident.

If you want to ascend, then grow up, beloveds.

A winner is not necessarily the one who wins all the prizes. You don’t have to win all the prizes. Life is not all about what you get. It is about your giving. Giving disapproval is not exactly great giving. Giving life a chance is more like it. Bet on life. Bet on yourself.

Life gives you many stepping-stones. Hop on them. Do not dismiss something because it does not live up to the epitome of your desire. You do not know where what you disapprove of could lead. You do not know what treasures lie before you.

Know this. Treasures do lie before you. Be open to them. You already know that everything in the world is not as it seems. All that glitters is not gold. By the same token, a piece of coal can offer you warmth. You can write with it. What seems like a piece of coal may even turn out to be a black diamond.

My children do not always know what good fortune looks like. Keep your eyes open for it. There are many doors in life to open. You cannot close out all of them. You never know what is behind a door. What exists behind a beguiling door may disappoint you. What is behind a rough-hewn door may surprise you.

Be an explorer. Better to take life as it comes than to denounce it.

Boredom

Boredom

The two foes of human happiness are pain and boredom. -Arthur Schopenhauer

A recent dinner companion of mine asked me, "Leo, am I boring?" I decided to be honest. "Yes, I'm afraid you are. You've been boring for years." "Really?" "Yes, and the reason you are boring is because you are bored: bored in life." "What should I do?" "Find the music in life, the spiritual rhythm that makes your existence come alive. And when you find it, dance to it." Don't think I haven't had that conversation with myself, often. Today I'm dancing.

I'm holding the tail of God's tiger. And it's exciting.

The Movie of Life

On this day of your life, Neytiri & Jake, I believe God wants you to know...

...that all who call on God in true faith, earnestly from the
heart, will certainly be heard, and will receive what they
have asked and desired.

Martin Luther said that, and he was right. Christmas Day
may have passed, but God's gift-giving day has not. For
God's gifts flow to us every day.

What present has been placed beneath the tree today?

'Tis the Tree of Life of which we speak, and the gift
waiting for you there will be revealed before this day is out.
Watch for it! Wait for it! It shall arrive!
Why, this little note itself may be it!

-----------------------------------------------------------

The Movie of Life

Every person has his or her own “movie of life.” In the Bible, for example, Joseph’s movie consisted of a series of trials he had to go through in order to become a great Light for the world.

No one’s life is free from difficulties. The question is- how do we react to them when they come?

What do we say to ourselves in the midst of the challenges? Do we say, “This is it. I am finished”? Or, do we try to rise above the difficulty and become a better human being because of it?

Free Will for All

Heavenletter #4769 Free Will for All

God said:

The peace of non-resistance. You are not strong to fuss and fume. Did you think you were? It is not strength to protest. It is not strength to huff and puff. It is not strength to judge. From peace comes strength.

Outrage is not strength. Superiority is not strength. Self-righteous anger is not strength. Rising above is strength.

Quietude is strength. What is it really that you have to defend and protect?

If you would like to live in a peaceful world, then peace must abound.

Who can walk over your emotions without your consent? If others seem to make you dance to their tune, who has acquiesced? Who has given permission? Who has gone along with someone else’s say-so?

Again, I say, what do you have to defend?

Defending is not peace nor is it defense. It is conciliation. Having to defend is a form of weakness, not strength, beloveds.

You know you make errors in your interpretation. You interpret that someone insults you. Even if someone does, you don’t have to bow to their insult. You are not insulted when it rains or there is a hurricane, even when you wanted sunshine and blue skies.

Because others have difficulties, you don’t have to make their difficulties yours.

Look, here’s the thing. Life does not have to be orchestrated the way you would like, nor does any other person have to be as you would like him to be. Everyone has free will. You can despair of another’s proclivities all you want, but to what purpose? Save your breath. You are not the orchestrator of the world. You are the orchestrator of yourself. You are the diviner of yourself. It is not up to you to decide the cards that other people play. Somehow you may have thought you are the dealer.

Give an inch, beloveds. This does not make you less. It makes you more. Who is the rich man? The one who is irate or the one who stays on an even keel? It is not your business to set everyone straight. You are not the governor of other people. Everyone has every right to live his life as he chooses. And so do you. And so do you. It isn’t an accomplishment for you to be affronted. Anyone can do that. Anyone can erupt.

It is a huge event when you come to the place where you do not have to take offense. This is indeed accomplishing something. Not taking offense doesn’t mean you are letting yourself be walked on. It means that you take responsibility for yourself. It means you stride across the Universe. It means you are the opposite of being taken advantage of. You are beneficent to yourself and, therefore, to another.

No one has rights over you, nor do you have rights over others. If you are to teach anyone a lesson, it is yourself. If you must set anyone straight, it is yourself. You are your own business. You are not to dance to another’s tune, nor are others to dance to yours.

Because someone may yell at you doesn’t mean you are obligated to yell back. Because someone is angry with you doesn’t mean you have to keep up in your anger. Life does not have to be even.

You may like to think of yourself as cool. Then be cool rather than hot under the collar.

According to the world, no one is perfect. And, yet, time and time again, you expect perfection from others and deny your own strength and your own free
will.

"We have to live today by what truth we can get today and be ready tomorrow to call it falsehood." William James

To change is to be imperfect, and to be imperfect is to be wrong at times! As an alcoholic, I have a problem with ego, always wanting to be right, hating to say "I am sorry," and not wishing to appear out of control. In sobriety, I must wrestle with my ego on a daily basis. Although I find it difficult to accept that I am imperfect, I know I am! I know I need to make amends. I know I produce most of the pain in my life.Today's facts are stepping stones to tomorrow's falsehoods, and I grow with this knowledge. Spirituality is growing in the knowledge that I do not have all the answers.

Let me experience joy and growth in the dilemmas of life.

Pretty Girl (S)

Well theres a pretty little girl
such a pretty little girl
i think she lives around the corner from me
sometimes I see her walking past my window
as I stare out vacantly
well how I wish we could meet and have something to eat,
or maybe we can go for a dance,
it's just effortless the way she lights up my street,
i really gotta take a chance.
and say

[chorus]
"Pretty little girl are you in love,
Well I always see you out on your own,
Do you think that maybe I could get your number?
and call you on the telephone"

Whoa oh oh oh
[chorus]

I think she saw me
Whoa oh oh oh oh
well she didn't see me at all
I went

Hear my heart go!

Well just the other day i was buying some food at my local Tesco store,
And i turned around and saw her there walking down aisle four,
In the frozen section she looked like perfection,
And I knew that i had to say hi
and seeing her there in the grocery store,
was the perfect alibi
I said

[chorus]
"Pretty little girl are you in love,
well i always see you out on your own,
Do you think that maybe i could get your number?
And call you on the telephone."

Whoa oh oh oh
[chorus]

Whaaaa!

Whoa oh oh oh oh
well she didn't see me at all

Waaaaaaaooh

The Magnificence of Your Being

A Vision for Great Nature
We envision a world where everyone sees the life in all things; where the animals, trees, plants, even the largest mountains and smallest pebbles are seen and honored for the spark of consciousness that resides within them. We see people beginning to treat Great Nature the way they would want themselves to be treated, and in response, Great Nature has begun to open her arms, reveal her secrets, and share her abundance with us like never before.
Now we see a partnership formed between humanity and Great Nature whereby people everywhere are rejuvenated and recreated because we are regularly walking the woodlands, visiting the shores, hiking the mountain trails, swimming in the lakes and streams. We see a grounding taking place within us now that we are touching the Earth and reestablishing our ancient connection - and as a result, the speediness of life has given way to a tranquility in mankind and womankind. Once we learned that something magical happens when we take off our shoes, soak our feet, bathe and baptize ourselves in the natural waters, we gained a relief from our seriousness and the cares of life.
Now we see things more clearly, make better decisions, and live happier lives because we've made friends with the best friend we could have: Great Nature.

Heavenletter #4767 The Magnificence of Your Being

God said:

See yourself as I see you, and you will be the most humble person in the world. You will be the most humble person in the world because you will know that you are in no need of embellishment. Unless you thought you were tarnished, what need of polishing would you have?

So much for ego, dear ones.

When you know the magnificence of your Being, what need of pride would you have?

Humility is not something you assume. Humility is simply yourself without lack and, therefore, without perceived need for more. When you know the strength of yourself, what would you ask for to be added to you?

When you know thyself, what attributes would you imagine you must grab for yourself?

When you know the color blue, you know it. Then you don’t have to question any longer. You will be able to answer questions about skies of blue. You will not have to ask anyone else about the cast of  blue. You will not need confirmation. Nor will your attention be on blue. Blue will be secured within you. What is left to ask?

When you are simply aware  of your Truth, where would coveting, greed, envy, jealousy come from? What reason for them could there be?

When you are unaware of the Truth of yourself, what can satisfy you? How many diamonds would be enough? How much love from the world and acclaim could appease you or appease you for long? When you know, and I mean really know, not just have an idea, what in the world can there be that you must have more of?

When you have Being Itself in the palm of your hand, what else can you imagine will fit?

If the whole world bowed down to you, it would not equal one percent of one percent of your awareness of God and yourself and your birthright to the Oneness and closeness to God and yourself. You would know the difference between the material and the Divine. You would enjoy the material much more, yet you would not be dependent upon it. Just as a child can enjoy plastic baubles, so would you enjoy the world at large. Gold or dross would not matter to you, for all of it is illusion. When you embrace the Truth, the world is more precious to you, and you feel more responsible for it and for those who don’t yet know the whole story.

When you have everything, it is natural to give. When you are not denied anything, what would you deny another?

You would know what the word trust means, yet you would more than trust. You would know. You would know that all is well whatever may dance on the surface. You will not need the world to reassure you. You are assured. You are not a know-it-all. You know all that you have to know. In actuality, you already know it.

Even if you could not read or write, it would not matter. Even if you were missing limbs, it would be okay. You could be deaf and blind, and yet you would hear and see beyond where  physical  eyes can see and the conch shells of ears can hear. The words God’s Child take on a new meaning for you as do the words Your Father and the Kingdom of Heaven and Truth and Love and Wisdom.

As it is presently for many or most of My Children, nothing can satisfy you, for you are unsatisfied and not yet capable of being satisfied. The extant world just can’t fill your need for satisfaction. Entrenched in the world, you are forever seeking more and more, for the world cannot, of itself, fulfill you. You are missing a major portion of the puzzle. You really have it yet you miss it because you haven’t yet seen it as your own.

You Need a Transfusion of My Divine Spirit

You Need a Transfusion of My Divine Spirit

Every soul along this spiritual path goes through times of seeming darkness, when nothing much seems to be happening, when they are deep down in the valley and the mountaintops seem far, far away and almost unattainable. It is at times like these you need a transfusion of My Divine Spirit so your whole being is infused with It. Never be a defeatist and sit down in the darkness in despair. Seek here and now for a renewal of the Spirit, open up your heart and feel the transfusion taking place infilling you with new hope, new faith, new desire to do My will and walk in My ways.

Let’s see through our true eyes, the eyes that sense and feel Oneness during the holidays.
We will clearly see God/Divinity in the homeless person, the aging neighbor, the tired co-worker and our partner and children who may feel stress from all the busyness during the holidays.
Let’s wrap our arms around them, give them the hugest hug and tell them we love them.
In this we will give and receive the true holiday message. Happy Holidays dear friends!

Don’t let ‘em Get to You

December 27: Don’t let ‘em Get to You

Crazy people make us crazy if we let them.

Prayer: Please teach me to love and live without hanging on so tightly. Give me the courage to walk my own path and trust you to guide others on their paths.

December 26: When You’ve Seen it All

Whenever we start thinking we’ve seen heard or done it all, we can be assured we haven’t. Something new is just around the corner.

Application: Whenever lazy thinking kicks in, whenever we find ourselves spouting judgments about something before we‘ve checked it out, whenever we start relying on assumptions and not paying attention to what we see, hear, and feel, it may be time to open our mind.
