The Gift of Empathy If we want to be good listeners you must first develop true empathy. Empathy is when you move yourself out of the picture and you become part of the person you are listening to, and answer from that place, which is a real gift. As a matter of fact, being a good listener is many times as great as the gift of the ability to share.  |
