CONNECTING WITH WISDOM

This is the week when Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai revealed to students, the greatest source of spiritual wisdom, the Zohar. (For more information, see Zohar.com.) As students today, we learn that nothing is random; there is a time for everything. The reason the Zohar was revealed in this particular week is because the energy available in the cosmos right now allows us to connect with ancient spiritual truths that can help us better understand the laws of the universe, and make choices that will bring us to greater destinations.

There is a prerequisite, however, for connecting with wisdom, and it’s one that becomes increasingly difficult the more spiritual enlightenment we attain: We can’t have all the answers.

It’s nearly impossible to gain more knowledge if we think we already have the answers. For those of us who are spiritual seekers, or who pride ourselves on our knowledge of spiritual principles, it will be harder for us to connect with the intense light of wisdom available this week simply because our cups are already full. In order to reach new levels of enlightenment, we have to be open to the wisdom that exists in the universe.

When you’re truly connecting with wisdom, the more you learn, the more you realize the less you know. This paradox can help us to maintain a humble consciousness, enabling us to receive even more in our learning process.

This is a perfect week to deepen our studies, as if we were brand new students. An open mind, along with a sense of awe and appreciation will allow us to better understand simple truths and receive great inspiration.

REVEALING THE CONCEALED

I am tapping into ancient, universal wisdom. Light from the Creator shines upon me, and I am able to see what is actually happening beyond the surface. My powers of observation are strengthened and I connect to the truth, to all that has been concealed until now.
