Conscious Creation

12th June 2012 – Jake – Love does not consist of gazing at each other, but in looking together in the same direction..Ish’llah

REFLECTION FOR TODAY: Most of us can relate to the feeling of being used. Have we ever looked behind our feelings of being used? Why did we continue putting ourselves in situations which left us feeling inadequate, angry, guilty and shameful? Were we not really being pleasers? It is one thing as a child to do things which bring us approval, but as adults we have the freedom of choice. We are not at the mercy of others for our self-worth. If we remain people-pleasers, it is our own choice.

If I feel used, may I remind myself I am responsible for what happens to me.

No one can use me unless I allow it.

I watched The Bone Collector yesterday and the following resonated:

Amelia, just trust me. Just follow those instincts you were born with. I’ll be with you every step of the way.

They say we come into this world with a preordained destiny. I don’t believe it......My point is that destiny is what you make it. What happened to your dad won’t necessarily happen to you.

I attended on online Kabbalah lesson last night.  The lesson was about when Moses led the Israelites back to Israel and the interaction between the 12 tribal leaders.  What were the lessons learnt.

Yehuda talked about the following:
  •    They were blinded by their ego and hence had to wait 40 years.
  • When opportunity is open to you jump because you don’t know when next you will get the opportunity again.  It could be another lifetime before it comes.  My ears pricked up when he mentioned this in relation to finding your soul mate!
  • You must be uncomfortable, then the Light will be exposed.
  • Jump into positive opening / opportunities when the universe is open
  • The Israelites had only a 24 hour opening
  • Separation equals chaos
  • You can be right or smart
  • Love and unity comes with openings
  • UNITY is the priority; the goal
  • Become One.

For me what really made sense was Neytiri showed her Light/Opening 24 years ago but it took me 23 years to be ready to receive it.  I am grateful I did not have to wait another lifetime for the next opening!

If you have a choice between being right and being king; always choose kind.

I am ONE with Neytiri!

He gave the following 2 questions to workshop:
  1. What can I do to bring more UNITY with the people in my life?
  2. Think of a person that it’s difficult for you to interact with. Now zoom out of the picture. List all the GOOD REASONS why they act/behave the way they do.

The First Moments of the Day
by Madisyn Taylor

Each morning when we awake, we have an opportunity to create our day with what inspires us the most.

The moment during the day when we very first open our eyes and come into consciousness is a precious opportunity. It sets the tone for all that comes after it, like the opening scene in a film or novel. At this moment, our ability to create the day is at its most powerful, and we can offer ourselves fully to the creative process by filling this moment with whatever inspires us most. It may be that we want to be more generous, or it may be that we want to be more open to beauty in our daily lives. Whatever the case, if we bring this vision into our minds at this very fertile moment, we empower it to be the guiding principle of our day.

Sometimes we wake up with a mood already seemingly in place, and it’s important to give this feeling its due. It can inform us and deepen our awareness to what’s going on inside us, as well as around us. As long as we are conscious, we can honor this feeling and also introduce our new affirmation or vision, our conscious offering to the day. We may want to decide before we go to sleep what we want to bring to the next day of our lives. It could be that we simply want to be more open to whatever comes our way. Or we may want to summon a particular quality such as confidence. Then again, we may simply call up a feeling that perfectly captures the texture we want our day to have.

We can reaffirm our vision or affirmation as we shower and eat breakfast, as well as recalling it at various times throughout the day. We can write it down and carry it with us on a little slip of paper if this helps. Simply by being aware of those first moments, we set the stage for a more conscious, enlivened experience, and we become active participants in the creation of our lives.
