Have you ever done something you knew you really shouldn’t and then spent days
feeling completely incapable and defeated because of it? Often when we regret
something we’ve done, we start to doubt ourselves and our ability to change.
This feeling can stay with us for days, weeks, even years if we let it.
It’s a great trick of the Negative Side to not only cause us to fall but
also to then keep us down.
We all have times when we are reactive;
moments of extreme selfishness even. It’s up to us whether we stay in the
negativity by wallowing in it and beating ourselves up or we choose to change.
When we do something wrong our heads can quickly become filled with
questions like: Why did this happen? How could I have done such a thing?
These may seem like intelligent questions, but the key to our spiritual
transformation and fulfillment is to ask: When will I start working to make
things better?
The answer can—and should—always be “right now” no
matter how far we may have fallen five minutes ago. Making the commitment to try
again and try harder than before is what re-connects us to the Light. We
shouldn’t forget or dismiss the damage we may have caused by our negative
actions, but perseverance is not something to be postponed.
It’s not
about our successes but what we do with our failures that really
count.
No one ever ran a marathon or won a world championship without
falling down or losing a few games. Don’t ever give up.
I’ll tell you a
secret, too: It’s always darkest before the dawn.
When you’re hanging by
a thread with everything against you and you feel you can’t possibly take a
minute more, now is not the time to give up because this is the moment the Light
is about to be revealed.
We can never afford to forget that with
certainty and the Light there is nothing we can’t do. Nothing.
All the best,
Yehuda

NO GUILT
I understand and take responsibility for the pain and suffering I may have caused, and as I travel back in time to that moment, I see how I could have acted differently.
I make the commitment to be a better version of myself and as I look at the darkness I created, I send Light, joy and love, asking the Creator to eradicate it from the universe.
I feel the Light wash over me and purify me.
