CREATING STRONGER RELATIONSHIPS

Never give up. Never ever give up. Why? Because just when you are about to give up is when things are about to turn around in a grand way. Hold on. Great things are waiting for you around the corner.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This week begins with Lag B’Omer today, which marks the death anniversary of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, author of the Zohar, the source of all kabbalistic wisdom. There is great energy available for us to tap into, not just today but throughout the whole week, that will assist us with the work we came to this world to do.

One of the core teachings of the Zohar is that we are divine beings. We are born of the Creator, and in fact we carry a spark of the Creator within us. Our job in this world is to connect with that spark and reveal our Light; a Light that is unique to each of us and which no other person can reveal. The more we do this work of living our true purpose, the more we can receive fulfillment.

So, how do we do it? How do we reveal our unique Light?

One thing is for sure, we can’t do it alone. Kabbalists teach that the key to revealing our Light is connecting with others.

There are certain people in our lives we are connected to on a regular basis. Whether it’s our parents, our children, the co-worker we sit next to, or the guy we speak with on the bus – these are the people we see nearly every day of our lives, and it’s not by random happenstance. These individuals are placed in our lives because our souls are linked with theirs. There are lessons to be learned from them, and lessons to be shared.

The universe places the exact people in our lives that we need to connect with to reveal our Light.

Creating stronger relationships with others isn’t just a nice thing to do – it’s the reason we are here! It is also the secret key that unlocks the door to a world full of harmony and love. Whatever our current level of care, it’s our job to consistently increase it, inching closer to the state of being unconditional.

Notice those who are part of your everyday life (that means friends, and foes, by the way) and find ways of growing closer to them.

As we increase our care for the people who are constants in our lives, we reveal our Light, and create a more fulfilling existence for all.

Hey Lamed Mem
SHARING THE FLAME

I tap into the infinite, the hidden dimension, the ultimate source of strength and Light, and imagine sharing that joy with all those around me.

Darkness recedes as I see candles burning across the universe, signifying the spreading of joy and Light. I ask for the strength and certainty to go out into the world to share goodness and create greater opportunities for Light, love and compassion.
