If Lovin You Is Wrong I Don't Wanna Be Right (S)

If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right
If being right means being without you
I'd rather be wrong than right.
Your mama and daddy say it's a shame
It's a downright disgrace
Long as I gotcha by my side
I don't care what your people say

Your friends tell you it's no future
in loving a married man
But, If I can't see you when I want to
I'll see you when I can
If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right
If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right

Am I wrong to fall so deeply in love with you
knowing I got a wife and two little children
depending on me too
And am I wrong to hunger
for the gentleness of your touch
knowing I got someone else at home

who needs me just as much

And are you wrong to to give your love
to a married man
And am I wrong trying to hold on
to the best thing I ever had
If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right
If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right

Are you wrong to give your love
to a married man
And am I wrong trying to hold on
to the best thing I ever had
If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right
If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right

I don't wanna be right
If it means being without you
I don't want to right
if it means just sleepin at night
I don't wanna be right
If Loving you is wrong
I don't wanna be right

CREATING STRONGER RELATIONSHIPS

Never give up. Never ever give up. Why? Because just when you are about to give up is when things are about to turn around in a grand way. Hold on. Great things are waiting for you around the corner.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This week begins with Lag B’Omer today, which marks the death anniversary of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, author of the Zohar, the source of all kabbalistic wisdom. There is great energy available for us to tap into, not just today but throughout the whole week, that will assist us with the work we came to this world to do.

One of the core teachings of the Zohar is that we are divine beings. We are born of the Creator, and in fact we carry a spark of the Creator within us. Our job in this world is to connect with that spark and reveal our Light; a Light that is unique to each of us and which no other person can reveal. The more we do this work of living our true purpose, the more we can receive fulfillment.

So, how do we do it? How do we reveal our unique Light?

One thing is for sure, we can’t do it alone. Kabbalists teach that the key to revealing our Light is connecting with others.

There are certain people in our lives we are connected to on a regular basis. Whether it’s our parents, our children, the co-worker we sit next to, or the guy we speak with on the bus – these are the people we see nearly every day of our lives, and it’s not by random happenstance. These individuals are placed in our lives because our souls are linked with theirs. There are lessons to be learned from them, and lessons to be shared.

The universe places the exact people in our lives that we need to connect with to reveal our Light.

Creating stronger relationships with others isn’t just a nice thing to do – it’s the reason we are here! It is also the secret key that unlocks the door to a world full of harmony and love. Whatever our current level of care, it’s our job to consistently increase it, inching closer to the state of being unconditional.

Notice those who are part of your everyday life (that means friends, and foes, by the way) and find ways of growing closer to them.

As we increase our care for the people who are constants in our lives, we reveal our Light, and create a more fulfilling existence for all.

72 Name of the Week

Hey Lamed Mem
SHARING THE FLAME

I tap into the infinite, the hidden dimension, the ultimate source of strength and Light, and imagine sharing that joy with all those around me.

Darkness recedes as I see candles burning across the universe, signifying the spreading of joy and Light. I ask for the strength and certainty to go out into the world to share goodness and create greater opportunities for Light, love and compassion.

Hallelujah (S)

Well I heard there was a secret chord
that David played and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
Well it goes like this:
The fourth, the fifth,
The minor fall and the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah...

Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to her kitchen chair
She broke your throne and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah...

Baby I've been here before
I've seen this room and I've walked this floor (you know)
I used to live alone before I knew you
And I've seen your flag on the marble arch
and love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah...

there was a time when you let me know
What's really going on below
But now you never show that to me, do you?
But remember when I moved in you
And the holy dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was Hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah...

Maybe there's a God above
But all I've ever learned from love
Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew you
And it's not a cry that you hear at night
It's not somebody who's seen the light
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah...
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah...
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah

Life Is An Illusion

The One To Share With
Though most of us consider ourselves to be people who share, we probably still fall into the trap of sharing with strings attached. We tend to give most to the people who give us love, friendship, or security in return.

If you really want to practice sharing without agenda, give something to the guy who has nothing to offer you.

Start with one person a week, then make it two. This is a powerful practice in growing our capacity for unconditional sharing.

Playing Your Part
by Madisyn Taylor

As we become more enlightened on our journey of life, we become more compassionate and wise and have less attachment.

As children, most of us sang that mesmerizing, wistful lullaby that ends with the words, “Life is but a dream.” This is a classic example of a deep, sophisticated truth hiding, like an underground stream, in an unlikely place. It winds its way through our minds like a riddle or a Zen koan, coming up when we least expect it and asking that we consider its meaning. Many gurus and philosophers agree with this mysterious observation, saying that this world we perceive as real is actually an illusion, not unlike a film being projected on a screen. Most of us are so involved in the projection that we don’t understand it for what it is. We are completely caught up in the illusion, imagining that we are in a life and death struggle and taking it very seriously.

The enlightened few, on the other hand, live their lives in the light of the awareness that what most of us perceive as reality is a passing fancy. As a result, they behave with detachment, compassion, and wisdom, while the rest of us struggle and writhe upon the stage in the play of our life. Having the wisdom to know that life is but a dream does not mean that we ignore it or don’t do our best with the twists and turns of our fate. Rather, like an actress who plays her role fully even as she knows it’s only a role, we engage in the unfolding drama, but with a little more freedom because we know that this is not the totality of who we are.

And life is more of an improvisation than it is like a play whose lines have already been written, whose end is already known. Like an improviser, we have choices to make and the more we embrace the illusionary quality of the performance, the lighter we can be on the planet, on others, and on ourselves. We can truly play with the shadows cast by the light of the projector, fully engaging without getting bogged down.

All Out Of Love (S)

I'm lying alone with my head on the phone
Thinking of you till it hurts
I know you hurt too but what else can we do
Tormented and torn apart

I wish I could carry your smile in my heart
For times when my life seems so low
It would make me believe what tomorrow could bring
When today doesn't really know, doesn't really know

[Chorus:]
I'm all out of love, I'm so lost without you
I know you were right, believing for so long
I'm all out of love, what am I without you
I can't be too late to say I was so wrong

I want you to come back and carry me home
Away from these long, lonely nights
I'm reaching for you, are you feeling it too?
does the feeling seem oh, so right?

And what would you say if I called on you now
And said that I can't hold on?
There's no easy way, it gets harder each day
Please love me or I'll be gone, I'll be gone

[Chorus]

Ooh, what are you thinking of
What are you thinking of
What are you thinking of
what are you thinking of

[Chorus]

Wanting to Join

Peaceful Revolution

JFK once said, “Those who think peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”

This is true not just of political conflicts, but of practical ones too. None of us go without disagreements in our everyday lives.

When we open ourselves up to the possibility that we can find resolution without raised voices, angry words or clenched fists, we can become peace makers in our own backyards, and energetically influence the peace makers of the world.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dumbing Ourselves Down
Playing it small in order to fit in with a group of people robs the essence of your soul level self.

The ability to go into any social situation and sense the level of consciousness in that situation is a gift. It enables us to move considerately in a world that holds people of all levels of awareness. However, there is a difference between shifting our energy to accommodate people and dumbing ourselves down to a regrettable degree. Sometimes, when we get into a particular social situation, we may feel pressure to play it small in order to fit in. Perhaps everyone is drinking or smoking excessively, engaging in gossipy small talk, or complaining bitterly about politics. It is one thing to notice this and modify our expectations and another thing entirely to join in.

When we notice where people are coming from and acknowledge to ourselves that their energy is not in alignment with ours, we have several choices as to how to proceed. One viable option is to quietly endure the situation, keeping to ourselves until it is time to leave. In this way, we take care of our own consciousness and protect our growth process. Another option is to interact in a way that honors and pays respect to the people in the group, while gently attempting to shift the level of consciousness with our input. In order to do this, we must maintain our own vibration, which means that joining in by dumbing down is not an option.

When we choose to dumb ourselves down to fit in, we not only sell ourselves short but we also lose a possible opportunity to influence the situation for the good of all concerned. Our desire to join in may come from our natural yearning to feel connected to the people around us. There is no shame in this, but being able to stand on our own, separate from the crowd, is a powerful milestone on any spiritual path. It can be difficult in the moment, but when we arrive on the other side, our integrity intact, we may find ourselves feeling positively smart.

Love Will Tear Us Apart (S)

When routine bites hard,
And ambitions are low,
And resentment rides high,
But emotions won't grow,
And we're changing our ways,
Taking different roads.

Then love, love will tear us apart again.
Love, love will tear us apart again.

Why is the bedroom so cold?
You've turned away on your side.
Is my timing that flawed?
Our respect runs so dry.
Yet there's still this appeal
That we've kept through our lives.

But love, love will tear us apart again.
Love, love will tear us apart again.

You cry out in your sleep,
All my failings exposed.
And there's a taste in my mouth,
As desperation takes hold.
Just that something so good
Just can't function no more.

But love, love will tear us apart again.
Love, love will tear us apart again.
Love, love will tear us apart again.
Love, love will tear us apart again.

The Power of Lag B’Omer

The Power of Lag B’Omer

This weekend is Lag B’Omer, the day that Rav Shimon bar Yochai, the author of the Zohar, left the world. This particular point in time gives us a great spiritual opportunity: the opportunity for renewal, to be who we are, and to reach greater heights.

When we get stuck inside ourselves, we are already full. The Creator has no room to help us. But when we turn and busy ourselves with others, then we have the opportunity to grow on our spiritual level.

One such powerful example of this concept was demonstrated by a group of Kabbalah students from Mexico who, in June 2011, put in the time, effort, and energy to share the Zohar in Chihuahua, Mexico.*

Prior to the distribution, I had met with the governor of Chihuahua, Cesar Horacio Duarte Jaquez, to discuss the situation in his state. One of the poorest states in Mexico, Chihuahua also had one of the highest violence and homicide rates in the Western world.

This team of Kabbalah volunteers distributed close to 5000 copies of the Zohar . And just hours after the Zohars entered Mexico, there was a shift. As one student put it:

“Seventy-two, yes. Seventy-two hours after the arrival of the Zohars in Juarez, it was reported that for the first time in years, a period of 24 hours had passed without any murders in the city. This was a very clear message that this peace was the result of a revelation of a large amount of Light, through the Zohar and the Zohar Project .”

One year later, homicides and kidnappings had fallen by more than 60%. In October 2012 alone, in fact, the murder rate in Ciudad Juarez (the seat of the municipality of Juarez in Chihuahua) had dropped by a startling 88% from the same month in 2010: to 28 murders, down from the 253 from only two years earlier.

There is no such thing as the sun that does not shine. When it is pouring rain and the sky is the grayest, the sun is there—and so is the Creator. We just need to open ourselves enough to let in that Light and then in turn to share it with others.

I'll Never Love This Way Again (S)

You looked inside my fantasies
And made each one come true
Something no one else had ever found a way to do
I've kept the memories one by one
Since you took me in
I know I'll never love this way again

I know I'll never love this way again
So I keep holding on before the good is gone
I know I'll never love this way again
Hold on, hold on, hold on

A fool will lose tomorrow
Reaching back for yesterday
I won't turn my head in sorrow
If you should go away

I'll stand here and remember
Just how good it's been
And I know I'll never love this way again

I know I'll never love this way again
So I keep holding on before the good is gone
I know I'll never love this way again
Hold on, hold on, hold on

CLARITY AND SHARING

CLARITY AND SHARING

"Clarity is the perception of wisdom and the ability
to see the soul in action in the physical world."

-- Gary Zukav, Seat of the Soul

What you share is not as important as why you share it.  For example, sharing with the intention to impress people with your generosity, intelligence, or good nature is not the same as sharing with the intention to support another with no strings attached, or sharing because sharing with love is healing and natural to us, or consciously sharing with love your presence with others.  Your intention for sharing determines the consequences of your sharing and your experiences of sharing.
Clarity allows you  to identify your intentions, distinguish among them, and to understand their effects.  When you share to change someone so that you will feel better about yourself or safe, you strive to manipulate and control.  You pursue external power.  This creates painful and destructive consequences.  When you share to contribute to Life without thought of self-benefit, or share from your heart without second agendas that benefit you first and others second, or share the compassion, wisdom, and love that you were born to share, your frequency increases, you shine brighter, and your choices contribute constructively to the collective consciousness.
You are a micro of a macro. Your soul is a micro of the soul of humankind.  This is sometimes called the collective unconscious of humanity, but it is not that.  It is the soul of humanity.  You cannot change the macro without first changing the micro.  You cannot diminish exploitation in the macro while that same energy exists in you.  As you change the micro, you simultaneously change the macro of which you are part and to which you are intimately bound.  You create the world that you want to see, choice by choice, with the force of your own will applied in the only way that can produce permanent and constructive results - to the conscious and constructive transformation of yourself.
This is the creation of authentic power.  The transformation that you create in yourself simultaneously contributes to the transformation of humanity.  Clarity enables you to make and understand these transformations in yourself and to contribute them to the world.  Ultimately, these are the contributions you were born to make.
Love,

Gary

NOTE FROM LINDA
MY BRILLIANT CLARITY
Linda FrancisOne of my most brilliant moments of clarity came when I made the choice not to please someone, and especially not to make myself wrong for doing something I thought would upset someone. I had newly arrived in Mt. Shasta, California, and I had found myself invited to climb to the summit of its 14,162 foot namesake with a group of women. My climbing partner arrived at the parking lot late and unprepared, and I knew she did not really intend to go. The other women had already started their climb and were out of sight. The snow on the mountain above me sparkled in the cold moonlight. I had never climbed to the summit of anything more than a hill.

I knew that I had a choice to make, and that I needed to make it quickly. Would I do it alone? My answer was Yes. So I turned to start up the trail, and the tormenting thoughts started coming, one by one. "I feel bad to leave her." "How could she do this to me?" "I don't how I can do this." "I'm not supposed to climb without a buddy." "I'm not good enough," and on and on. "I'm not in good enough shape." "I'm too old to do this."

They just kept coming into my mind, but as I continued to climb one step at a time, I became aware of them leaving one thought at a time, and I somehow knew they would not come back. I was watching my personality come up with the limited thoughts that had always stopped me from doing things that were not familiar, but that would stretch me spiritually.

Until then, I did not do unfamiliar things often. That day I learned a lot from making decision after decision, hour after hour, to continue climbing and not believe these limiting thoughts. This experience taught me about clarity and humbleness. My trust in the Universe was complete.

Very soon after this miraculous climb, I started creating the first retreat that Gary and I ever gave about authentic power. I again got to watch my personality put up all kinds of false barriers/limiting thoughts for why I could not do this. Sometimes I would get stuck in believing these thoughts for a while, but I always chose to move forward. The clarity and trust in the Universe that I felt on the mountain that day remained with me, and they are still my guides as I do the things that take courage to do in creating a life of appreciation and awe for myself and my follow humans and this loving and wise Universe.
Love,
Linda

The Tracks Of My Tears (S)

People say I'm the life of the party
'Cause I tell a joke or two
Although I might be laughing loud and hearty
Deep inside I'm blue

So take a good look at my face
You know my smile looks out of place
If you look closer it's easy to trace
The tracks of my tears

Oh I need you, need you

Since you left me if you see me with another guy
Looking like I'm having fun
Although he might be cute he's just a substitute
Because you're the permanent one

So take a good look at my face
You know my smile looks out of place
If you look closer it's easy to trace
The tracks of my tears

Outside I'm masquerading
Inside my hope is fading
I'm just a clown since you put me down
My smile is my make-up I wear since my break-up with you

Baby take a good look at my face
You know my smile looks out of place
If you look closer it's easy to trace
The tracks of my tears

Woah baby take a good look at my face
You know my smile looks out of place
If you look closer it's easy to trace
The tracks of my tears

Ooh ooh ooh ooh

Physical Bodies On Earth

True Care
A prominent mayor once credited my father’s teacher Rav Brandwein with inspiring him to quit smoking. What’s interesting is that Rav Brandwein never mentioned the dangers of smoking; he didn’t judge the mayor, or even tell him to quit. The mayor simply felt such concern and care from Rav Brandwein that it was enough to make him quit on the spot.

True care isn’t always about lecturing or giving advice. True care is giving people the space to go through their own process, and realize when it is time to change.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Spiritual Being--Physical Experience
While we are incarnated in a body on this earth, we must remember that we still are a spiritual being at our core.

We are on this earth, in our physical bodies, because our souls have things to learn that we could not learn in any other way. It is through our physical body and the physical world that we can experience life. Purely spiritual beings are just that – they are in a state of being rather than doing – in a place that is beyond the limitations of time and space. But when we incarnate on the physical plane, we are automatically subject to the laws of physics and the world of dualities. In this place, we know what happiness is because we have experienced sadness, and we understand the value and power of light because we have known darkness. Knowing this, we have the opportunity to let ourselves be spiritual beings having a physical experience.

There is no pain in the spiritual realm, because we know we are one with the limitless source of the universe. But here, in the material realm, our sense of limitation and separation allows us to feel our emotions and to learn about love, forgiveness, and compassion. We go from a spiritual state of oneness to learning how to be in relationship with people who are different and distinct individuals. We learn to understand ourselves through our relationships with the world around us—its seasons and landscapes, challenges and opportunities. And through our journey to find our place among so many others, we begin to recognize our own glimmer of light in a constellation of stars.

Once we remember that we are spiritual beings, we can revel in the experience of being human while knowing we are all connected. We can live from the place of oneness while truly appreciating the beauty of diversity, the bittersweet feel of love and loss, and the elation of triumph over challenges and adversity. It is through these opposites that we experience life itself, and we can ride through the dark times with the understanding that it will help us to appreciate the light of life and love and spirit more fully. We are here now because we made the choice to experience an earth life, so now we can choose to enjoy the journey as completely as possible.

A Woman's Worth (S)

You could buy me diamonds
You could buy me pearls
Take me on a cruise around the world
Baby you know I'm worth it
Dinner lit by candles
Run my bubble bath
Make love tenderly to last and last
Baby you know I'm worth it

Wanna please wanna keep wanna treat your woman right
Not just dough but to show that you know she is worth your time
You will lose if you chose to refuse to put her first
She will and she can find a man who knows her worth

Mmm
Cause a real man, knows a real woman when he sees her
And a real woman knows a real man ain't afraid to please her
And a real woman knows a real man always comes first
And a real man just can't deny a womans worth

Mm Hmm Mm Hmmm
Mm Hmm Mm Hmmm
Mm Hmm Mm Hmmm
Mm

If you treat me fairly
I'll give you all my goods
Treat you like a real woman should
Baby I know you're worth it
If you never play me
Promise not to bluff
I'll hold you down when shit gets rough
Cause baby I know you're worth it

She walks the mile makes you smile all the while being true
Don't take for granted the passions that she has for you
You will lose if you chose to refuse to put her first
She will and she can find a man who knows her worth

Oh
Cause a real man knows a real woman when he sees her
And a real woman knows a real man ain't afraid to please her
And a real woman knows a real man always comes first
And a real man just can't deny a woman's worth

No need to read between the lines spelled out for you (spelled out for you)
Just hear this song cause you can't go wrong when you value (better value)
A woman's (woman's)
Woman's (woman's)
WORTH!

Cause a real man knows a real woman when he sees her
And a real woman knows a real man ain't afraid to please her
And a real woman knows a real man always comes first
And a real man just can't deny a woman's worth

[Repeat until end]

How To Make an Optimum Choice In Any Moment!

Excited About Everything
There is nothing – and that means nothing – that is happening or will ever happen in your life, that is not sent by the universe for your ultimate benefit. The blessings are here for us to share and enjoy, and the hardships are to help us grow so we can receive even more great things.

You can be consistently excited about everything in your life when you know it’s all leading you to a possibility of fulfillment you can’t even begin to fathom.
---------------------------------------------------------------
By Aine Belton
Choice can open the door to a whole new life, not only at cross-roads on your path, but in each moment, giving you access to the bountiful palate with which to paint your world.
You can choose a new action, thought or feeling at any time, and birth an entirely new reality as a result.
Every choice has an impact, to a greater or lesser extent, each one like a pebble dropped in a pond; the ripples, the ramifications, spreading out into your future and other areas of your life.
Even one small choice made today that shifts your life by a minor degree can take you to an entirely different future than the one you are heading, opening doors to a myriad of new horizons, opportunities, situations, potentials and states of being.
I’ve no doubt you can remember choices you made weeks, months or years ago that have significantly changed who and where you are right now. Perhaps you can also think of choices you didn’t make and wonder where your life may have ended up, for better or worse, if you had.
The good news with choice is, you can make a new one in any moment!
Each moment is ripe with a cornucopia of possibility.”
Owning choice – its availability, your capacity to make it, and its capacity to change your life – brings freedom and empowerment.
Further below are some questions to assist in making optimum choices.
First I want to share 3 allies that will enhance decision-making of any kind.
1. Love
Choice sourced in love can only ever win.
It is the intention that matters so much when it comes to making choices. Be willing to be wrong in pursuit of what is right. You may mess up, you may make a ‘mistake’, but if your heart is in the right place, not only will making a mistake be far less likely, the outcome of that choice may still be positive if the energy behind it is.
Love opens you to optimum choices. Are you in a loving state when making decisions? When you are feeling loving towards yourself and others you open to brighter choices for the greater good of all.
Love helps you get clearer about how true a choice is, i.e. how aligned it is to your heart, and separates the chaff from the wheat, protecting you from ego agendas.
The state you are in, the thoughts and feelings you are experiencing, all have a big impact on the choices you make. Love is a pure high state of being that is of truth and accordance with divine will.
Love beckons always the most beautiful becoming”
2. Imagination
Another key ally for choice is imagination.
When looking at choices to make in your life, be sure to use your imagination and explore the expanse of possibilities available. Open to options and potentials, even those you may think are unlikely possibilities from your current perspectives or situation. Broaden your vision so you have a wide range of choices available to you. Doing so helps you make more optimum empowered ones.
Before making a choice, open to the possible, and engage your imagination as a means to do that.
3. There are no perfect choices
There was a time in my life when I was very bad at making choices. The main culprits were fear, a lack of personal power and perfectionism.
Perfectionism breeds fear and can be paralysing. I was cautious with choices, afraid I might be making the ‘wrong choice’. I had gotten the idea that there was a perfect choice in each moment, which of course there isn’t.
You are human and you will make mistakes.
Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes.” ~ Oscar Wilde
As said, it is the intention behind any choice that matters. It’s better to be wrong for the right reasons, than right for the wrong reasons. Is your decision coming from ego, or love?
You are creating your reality in every moment. Even if you do make a ‘duff’ choice, you can make a new one after. You may want to forgive yourself, let it go, digest any learnings, etc. Opening to love before making a decision safe-guards you from choices that may be painful or damaging to yourself or others.
Some of the biggest mistakes I’ve made in my life were the choices I didn’t make, which were also choices. Saying “yes” to life, being bold enough to act on my intuition and to choose the life my heart desired changed so much.
Be discerning, but don’t be shy with choice. Yield it, with love, responsibility, care and conscious intention.
What choice could you make today that would change your life for the better this week/month/year?
Below are some questions to help elicit optimum choices, whether you are at a cross-roads in your life or just want to ponder on how to use this powerful tool ever-available to you.
Questions to elicit optimum choices:
The below questions can also shine light on possible underlying intentions, the potential impact of your choice, the circumference of those available, and what ones may be most serving.
  • Is this a loving choice?
  • Does this choice take me closer to my dreams, goals, and heart’s desires?
  • Does this choice reflect the best of who I am, who I desire to be, and the future I wish to create?
  • Is this choice in alignment with my principles and heart?
  • Is this a fear choice?
  • Is this a ‘safe choice’ keeping me from going beyond my comfort zone?
  • Is this someone else’s choice?
  • Which ‘me’ is choosing this? Is it my child, adolescent, ego or mature adult self?
  • Is this choice coming from negative beliefs or stories?
  • Is this a winner’s choice?
  • Does my intuition respond positively to this choice?
  • Is this a true choice of personal desire, or one of sacrifice or obligation?
  • Is this an informed choice?
  • What is the possible short and long-term impact of this choice? Does one cancel out the merit of the other? (For example, is your choice worth the short-term pleasure if it leads to future pain?)
  • Is this choice aligned to my brightest future?
  • What is the impact of this choice on myself and others?
Don’t worry if you aren’t clear on answers to all these questions, they are shared to aid reflection. Simply going through them may help you become clearer about choices, bring to light possible blind-spots, open you to new perspectives in relation to your choice, and shed light on possible limiting agendas that may be impacting your choices.
Perhaps you have no choice in mind at present, in which case, ponder on this question once again:
What choice could you make today that would change your life for the better this week/month/year ahead? There may be several :)

Any thoughts do share!
Much love,
